What is this policy for?
Your privacy is important and I am committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This privacy policy explains how any personal information collected about you when you use this service is processed, used, and stored. The policy follows the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please email [email protected] if you have any queries.
What information is collected?
Contact details that you have shared to access resources on the website, including free downloads.
Information that is generated automatically when you read my emails or navigate through my website, for example, statistics about views and clicks.
Why is information about me collected and how is it used?
Your information is collected in order to provide the best service to you, and it will never be shared with third parties or made public without your consent. Your information will only be kept as long as you are happy for it to be so.

Usage statistics are collected to improve client experience by tracking the most popular content and ensuring a smooth journey through the website. The majority of this data is used in aggregate form.
Once you have shared your details, the lawful basis for processing your information is consent. This means that you provide consent for your personal data to be used to provide a service to you. Prior to this (for example, whilst you are enquiring about the service), the lawful basis for processing your information is for the legitimate interest of the organisation.
My business is registered with the Information Commissioners Office, the UK authority for upholding data protection, (www.ico.org.uk).
How will your information be kept secure?

What is the process for retaining data?
Data is kept in line with retention schedules suggested by the Health & Care Professions Council for adult health records. This is 8 years.
