Embody & Embrace

Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions before enrolling in Embody & Embrace (the “Programme”). By enrolling in and participating in the Programme, you agree to the terms outlined below.

About the Programme

Embody & Embrace is created and delivered by Dr Jill Domoney, Clinical Psychologist and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher.

The Programme consists of eight live online group sessions delivered weekly over eight weeks. Sessions include psychological education, reflective exercises, discussion, and pregnancy yoga practices designed to support awareness, flexibility, and self-trust during pregnancy.

Participants will also receive accompanying materials, which may include worksheets, reflection exercises, audio practices, and session recordings where applicable.

The Programme is educational and wellbeing-focused in nature. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric treatment, crisis support, or medical care, and participation does not create an individual therapist–client relationship between participants and Dr Jill Domoney.

The Programme draws on evidence-based psychological approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside yoga-based practices that support embodied awareness and self-regulation.

Participant Responsibility and Mental Health Support

Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing during the Programme.

Some of the material explored within the Programme may feel emotionally challenging at times. Participants are encouraged to engage at a pace that feels manageable and to seek additional support where needed.

The Programme is not designed to provide crisis or urgent mental health support. Dr Jill Domoney is not able to provide emergency or out-of-hours psychological care.

If at any time you experience significant emotional distress, concerns about your safety, thoughts of harming yourself or others, or feel unable to cope safely, you should contact your GP, midwife, NHS urgent mental health services, or another appropriate healthcare professional immediately.

The Programme may not be suitable for individuals currently experiencing severe or acute mental health difficulties requiring intensive or specialist support.

Yoga and Physical Practice

The yoga and movement practices included in the Programme are offered for educational and wellbeing purposes only.

Participants are responsible for practising within their own limits and for monitoring their own physical comfort and safety throughout. You are encouraged to rest, modify, or stop any practice that does not feel appropriate for your body.

By participating, you confirm that you have consulted with your GP, midwife, or relevant healthcare professional where necessary regarding your suitability for pregnancy yoga and movement practices.

The Programme does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any concerns regarding your physical health or pregnancy should be discussed directly with your healthcare provider.

Group Participation and Confidentiality

Participants are asked to contribute to a respectful, compassionate, and confidential group environment.

Any personal information or experiences shared by other participants during live sessions should be treated as confidential and must not be shared outside the Programme.

While every effort is made to create a safe and confidential environment, confidentiality in online group settings cannot be absolutely guaranteed.

Participants may not record, reproduce, distribute, or share Programme sessions or materials without prior written permission.

Contact Between Sessions

Participants are welcome to contact Dr Jill Domoney by email with practical questions relating to the Programme.

Email contact is not intended as therapeutic support, crisis support, or ongoing individual guidance, and responses are not guaranteed within a specific timeframe.

Session Recordings and Access

Live sessions may be recorded for the purpose of providing replay access to enrolled participants who are unable to attend live.

Recordings provided to participants are for personal use only and may not be downloaded, reproduced, shared, or distributed.

Access to Programme recordings will remain available until a month after the programme ends.

Dr Jill Domoney may also use selected excerpts from session recordings for future educational, training, or promotional purposes, including use within future versions of the Programme or on professional platforms such as websites or social media.

Any such use will only include content featuring Dr Jill Domoney and will not include participant names, images, personal information, or identifiable contributions without explicit written consent.

Enrolment and payments

Enrolment is completed via the Yoga Psychology Centre Website and is subject to the website’s privacy policy and payment terms.

Your place on the Programme is confirmed once payment has been received.

Refunds and Cancellations

Participants may cancel their place and receive a full refund up to 7 days before the Programme start date.

If cancellation occurs after this, but before the second live session, a 50% refund may be provided.

Refunds are not available after the second live session has taken place.

If Dr Jill Domoney needs to cancel or substantially change the Programme, participants will be offered an alternative arrangement or refund where appropriate.

Confidentiality and data protection

All personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and treated with care and confidentiality.

Confidentiality may be broken if there is a concern about serious risk of harm to the participant or others, or where required by law or professional obligations. Where possible, Jill Domoney will attempt to discuss this with the participant first.

Intellectual property

All Programme materials are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Dr Jill Domoney.

Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.

Complaints

Participants are welcome to share feedback throughout the Programme.

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to [email protected]
